Materials
Harbor Master Boat: The Harbor Commission has received a maximum award of $403,500 through FEMA’s Port Security Grant Program. The grant requires a 25% match, which will be paid jointly by the Harbor Commission and the Maine DOT, for a total potential project cost of $538,00. The award is specifically for a security and response vessel and a percentage of grant management costs. Total expenditures under the award will depend on vessel cost and actual personnel time. Vessel cost will be made public once a build contract is signed by both parties, and is significantly less than the total grant award.
